2 tablespoons unsalted butter 1 medium yellow onion, minced 3 large garlic cloves, minced 15-ounce can tomato sauce 1 teaspoon dried basil ½ teaspoon salt 1 chicken bouillon cube, crumbled 1 tablespoon granulated sugar ¼ teaspoon red chili flakes 1 cup half and half ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese fresh parsley for garnish

Sautee onion and garlic with butte until softened.

Add tomato sauce, sugar, salt, chicken bouillon, basil, and red chili flakes. Cook for about 3 minutes.

Add the half and half, bring to a boil then simmer for 7 minutes. Take off the heat and stir in the mozzarella.

Immediately toss with cooked pasta and serve.
