This is an all-purpose sauce that can be paired with almost anything. Try using this honey garlic sauce as a dip for eggrolls, in stir fry's, or toss it with some freshly cooked chicken wings!
In a small saucepan, combine the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, oil, and garlic over medium heat. Bring to a simmer.
In a small bowl, whisk together the water and cornstarch. Pour the cornstarch slurry into the saucepan and whisk until the sauce thickens, about 1 minute.
Transfer the sauce to a container or serving bowl and let cool slightly or completely before serving.
