Sausage Gravy

1 pound ground pork sausage 4 tbsp flour 2 cups whole milk ¼ teaspoon salt ½ tsp black pepper

Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat for 5-6 minutes or until cooked through, stirring frequently.

Add the flour and cook, whisking constantly, for 3-5 minutes.

Slowly whisk in the milk. Let the gravy cook until it thickens, about 2 minutes. Stir in the salt and pepper then adjust to taste.
