Ingredients

tablespoons
unsalted butter

all-purpose flour

unsalted chicken broth

teaspoon
salt

pepper
Instructions
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
When the foaming subsides, add the flour and cook, whisking constantly, until flour turns light brown, about 30 seconds.
Slowly whisk in the broth and bring to simmer.
Reduce the heat to medium and cook until the gravy has thickened.
Server over chicken.

Refrigerate
– Cool for 1 hour then transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
Reheat over low heat and add a little stock if the sauce is too thick.
