Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and process until smooth and creamy. Scrape sides down as needed.
Serve immediately, or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
If a thinner crema is desired, add one teaspoon of water at a time until it reaches the desired consistency.
Make ahead tip
The crema will keep for up to 5 days stored in the refrigerator. Transfer to an airtight container and place a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface to prevent browning.Makes about 1.5 cups.
