Cowboy Butter
Homemade Cowboy Butter is so delicious on grilled steak, but also on garlic bread. It's flavored with parsley, garlic, pepper, and lemon to add enhanced flavor to your favorite meals.

Ingredients

cup
salted butter
softened
⅓
cup
finely minced fresh parsley
¼
teaspoon
red pepper flakes
⅛
teaspoon
coarsely ground black pepper

clove
garlic
finely minced
1
lemon
zested and halved
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Add the parsley, red pepper flakes, black pepper, garlic, lemon zest, and the juice of half the lemon.
Mix it until fully combined, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
Turn the mixture out onto a piece of plastic wrap.
Using the back of a spatula, spread out the mixture into a log shape.
Roll the plastic wrap up and twist the ends like a piece of candy.
Refrigerate the log of butter for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to come together.
