Dijon Mustard Sauce is an easy, sauce with a tangy flavor that uses just six simple ingredients. It's the perfect sauce to serve with chicken, fish, pork, or vegetables.
Combine half & half, Dijon mustard, flour and salt in 1-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 3-5 minutes or until the mixture begins to thicken. Do not boil.
Stir in shallot; remove from heat. Add butter, stirring constantly with whisk, until butter is melted and smooth.
Serve sauce immediately over chicken breasts, pork, fish, or vegetables.
