Ssamjang is the ultimate dipping sauce for Korean BBQ lovers! With its perfect balance of mild spice and salty goodness, this rich and nutty sauce takes your taste buds on an unforgettable journey. It’s the ideal complement to Korean pork belly, especially when you’re grilling up some delicious Samgyeopsal.

Today, I’m excited to introduce you to ssamjang, a delicious Korean dipping sauce! The beauty of ssamjang is that the ingredient ratio can be tailored to your taste and mood.
I’ve discovered a unique blend that I find the most flavorful so far, but feel free to adjust it according to your preferences. If you prefer a less sweet sauce, you can easily omit the sugar or simply reduce the amount you use.
While you can find premade ssamjang in Korean grocery stores, nothing beats the freshness and flavor of homemade. It’s best enjoyed right after you whip it up, but if you have leftovers, you can keep it in the fridge for about 10 days.
